Start with a common information sheet
Request the brand, reference of every unit and complete system configuration. Add rated capacity and the corresponding efficiency documents. With a multisplit, identifying all indoor units and the outdoor unit is particularly important: the number of rooms alone does not identify a combination.
Use the same description of the property when discussing alternatives. Explain the rooms, usage, intended locations and existing installation. If one proposal uses different assumptions, ask for it to be reviewed before comparing totals. Do not assume an installation detail is resolved simply because it is not listed as excluded.
Define what basic installation includes
Installation included needs a written scope. Ask for pipe routes, materials, supports, drainage, access arrangements and commissioning to be identified, alongside work that would require a separate quote. Establish responsibility for making good or other trades where these are needed.
For a replacement, clarify removal of the previous equipment and assessment of anything intended for reuse. If the property has not yet been visited, identify the outstanding checks and how any resulting change will be confirmed before work proceeds.
Review the price and conditions
Check whether each amount includes VAT and which items make up the total. Do not compare a supply-only figure with an installed price. Acceptance, availability and scheduling should also be clear; making an enquiry should not be treated as an immediate confirmed booking.
If the equipment or scope changes, request an updated version that clearly replaces the previous proposal. Keep the accepted copy. Short messages can clarify individual questions, but the final conditions should be readable together without reconstructing a long chain of conversations.
Receive a system you know how to use
At handover, check the references and request a demonstration of ordinary operation, included controls and user care. Ask for the manuals and commissioning documents appropriate to your installation, alongside the invoice and applicable warranty conditions.
Record any outstanding task and who will resolve it. Keep the documents in a folder identified by property and equipment. If assistance is needed later, model references, dates and the agreed scope make it easier to explain the situation accurately without relying on memory.
LET US APPLY IT TO YOUR HOME
Let us work it out together.
Send the property's details and the scope you need so we can prepare an identified proposal that is straightforward to review.
