Identify the combination first
Request the label or specification for the offered system. For a split, this means the indoor and outdoor pair; for a multisplit, the composition needs particular attention. A label for another capacity in the same range does not establish the figures for your proposal.
Keep the references with the quotation. If a unit is substituted during preparation, request updated documentation. You can then check that the delivered system matches the information used for comparison, rather than relying on a generic catalogue photograph.
Separate cooling and heating
SEER describes seasonal cooling efficiency and SCOP describes seasonal heating efficiency. The label separates these functions and may provide heating information for different climates. Do not compare two heating figures without checking the condition to which each relates.
Note the functions you actually intend to use. If you want heating as well as cooling, review both sections. A good cooling energy class does not automatically establish the same classification when the equipment operates in heating mode.
Use an exact reference as an example
For AC026BNLDKG/EU paired with AC026RXADKG/EU, Samsung publishes a SEER of 6.2 and SCOP of 4.0, with A++ cooling and A+ heating in the average climate. These figures belong to that combination, not every unit with a similar appearance.
The example shows which fields to look for. It does not establish that this model suits your property or is preferable to another capacity. Sizing and installation feasibility should be resolved before the comparison is finalised.
Declared consumption is not a household bill
Energy information supports comparison under reference conditions. Your bill also depends on usage, the property and electricity prices. Do not turn an annual label figure directly into a promise of expenditure in your own home.
If you want to assess running costs, ask for the assumptions to be recorded: operating hours, cooling or heating usage and the electricity tariff considered. Keep that estimate separate from equipment and installation costs so that the different decisions remain clear.
Complete the comparison with practical requirements
Efficiency matters, but so do air distribution, controls, maintenance access and installation scope. An energy figure cannot correct an unsuitable installation. Before acceptance, check that the proposals are based on identified equipment and comparable conditions.
- Exact references and documentation for the offered combination.
- Cooling and heating values compared under matching conditions.
- Consumption estimates kept separate from any promise of savings.
