Start with the comfort problem
Consider where you notice the draught: over the bed, on the sofa or at your desk. Explain whether it happens at start-up, throughout the night or when the system is working harder. This helps with both equipment selection and the proposed location.
WindFree mode distributes air through micro-holes. It does not make every mounting position suitable or remove the need to assess the room. Consider it alongside furniture and patterns of use, rather than expecting one feature to compensate for an unsuitable installation.
Request the complete product code
Several series and capacities appear in the catalogue. Ask for the indoor and outdoor references of the proposed combination and consult its own specification. Comfort S2 and Elite S2 both carry the WindFree name, but sensors, filters and operating modes should not automatically be assumed identical.
Make a short list of the features you actually need and request confirmation against the reference. If a general description and the technical table leave something unclear, resolve it before accepting. A marketing photograph alone does not prove that an accessory is included in the price.
Size the system for the property
Do not choose the most powerful model simply because it belongs to a series you like. Orientation, glazing, insulation, occupancy and expected use all inform the selection. An internal bedroom and a heavily sunlit lounge may need different proposals.
When comparing two options, keep the installation scope equivalent and ask why each capacity has been suggested. That makes it easier to distinguish a feature you will genuinely use from a larger unit that does not improve the solution for your room.
Check operation and ongoing care
At handover, ask to see the change between normal operation and WindFree mode, including airflow adjustment where applicable. If app control is part of the proposal, check the setup for that particular model and keep the local remote available.
Ask which filters the user can maintain and which work needs a professional. Cleaning-feature names do not replace the maintenance instructions. Keep the manual for the equipment actually installed, rather than a leaflet for another generation, so later adjustments and care follow the right guidance.
LET US APPLY IT TO YOUR HOME
